It has been a while, I know. Lots of things have been a while. But:

I have been watching True Detective on HBO every Sunday night. It is very good. It reminds me of home, in both good and bad ways. Every other night: I am in rehearsal. I have a new job, which keeps me very busy. Busy keeps me busy. To take the new job: I quit a job. One I don’t miss at all (though I do miss some of the people). Bhanu brought me this:

Tomorrow Isobel and Yoshimi both have to have a tooth pulled. They both have to go under anesthesia. They are healthy, but it makes me nervous. It will be a very difficult day. Send some good vibes their way. While they go under the knife, I will be lecturing on Hedda Gabler and listening to monologues. It will feel interminable, I just know it.
