“And through the squall the course stays true.”

Lots of things happened this week. Here are a few of them:

1. My TA lectured. It was awesome. On that same day: I lost my wallet. Then: I found it.

2. My students at Naropa opened their BFA Senior shows. I saw half of them with LA on Saturday and will see the other half next weekend. Janet was there, wearing her still-sort-of-new pants and her very old Doc Marten’s. She’s glad she held on to them all these years as they look fantastic with the aforementioned pants. I had a pair exactly like them but I have no idea what ever happened to them.

3. I had a last minute party at my apartment. It was fun. There is no documentation of said party. So: you’ll just have to take my word for it.

4. Erin came to Boulder to hang out Friday night and she and Matt and I got drunk. Then: some other stuff happened. Everyone was up very late.

5. I had rehearsal for “8,” which has a one night only performance this coming Thursday.

6. LA and I worked the bar for Moulin Scrooge and had a blast. Michelle, Joan, Len, Jim and Cynthia are freaking fantastic in the show. So is everyone else, I just don’t really know them. It’s seriously hilarious and completely inappropriate. x a million.

7. I found this poem I wrote:

and when I die:

tell them: to bury me in my Boy Scouts of America uniform.

and say: she was a good Scout.

and say: she was good.

and tell them: she had hopes and dreams.

and tell them: she hoped we never find the Final Frontier.

and tell them: she dreamed of spiders.

and say: she hoped you loved her.

and say: she dreamed you loved her.

and say: you loved her.

8. Matt left yesterday and is making his way toward Austin. There he will stay with Jon, our friend from college. He promised the two of them would drunk dial me while he’s there.

9. Love. Wonder. Majesty.

10.
